On the basis that you can’t go far wrong if you listen to your customers Blueprint is in confident mood going into ACOS with three exciting new cabinets which have been developed following an extensive period consulting with the market.

Blueprint, part of the MERKUR UK portfolio of leading gaming brands, will be at next week’s ACOS boosted by summer sales that are 50 percent up and a formidable line-up of three new cabinets catering for the B3 and Category C sectors of the business. The hat-trick of new cabinets comprise the B3 Wave+ and Aurormax+ which will be appearing alongside the Ultramax Category C.

Nicola Wallbank, Head of Corporate Accounts at Blueprint believes the offering represents the most compelling line-up of launch products to appear at ACOS. She explained: “During the various lockdown periods when the market wasn’t permitted to trade, we used the time we had to completely review our products, talking with customers and thereafter applying their and our thinking to an extended product proposition, the results of which will be fully unveiled at ACOS. We have also produced a virtual ACOS (VACOS) experience for any of our customers that are unable to join us next week or those that just want a glimpse beforehand!”

The Ultramax Cat C features two large 31.5” screens, an integrated wireless phone charger, the MD100+ Gold note acceptor with spectral head technology, a 75-note recycler with multi-note payout options, and an optional pin camera which is integrated into the cabinet to provide for age verification technology – all powered by the Quixant 6000 PC. Blueprint’s Wave + and Auroramax + follow the same player-led theme. Both feature large screens – the Wave + has a 43” curved portrait screen with the Auroramax + boasting two 32” HD screens. Both have a new 15.6” video play deck to deliver a more interactive experience and the QXI6000 Quad core PC for enhanced graphical performance and smooth gameplay. The Wave + is supplied with an optional plinth which can raise the height of the machine and has new game play buttons that are resistant to the degradation caused by antibacterial cleaning products.

Nicola Wallbank explained: “Blueprint’s product development strategy across both Cat C and B3 is to provide players with a seamless entertainment journey and that means delivering great graphic content onto the size and quality of screens that consumers have become accustomed to and now quite rightly expect from their entertainment spend.

“Responding to what players like and having forensic attention to detail are both key to Blueprint’s product offerings hence the inclusion of the phone charger on the Ultramax, the use of high-quality components such as the MD100 and the spectral note technology as well as the inclusion of features like the 15.6” video deck that serve to future proof the cabinets.

“Listening to and acting on the feedback from our customers has resulted in the creation of three new cabinets and a significant step forward in design and the player interface.

“After such a long time without being able to meet face-to-face with our customers the entire Blueprint team and I cannot wait to demonstrate our new products and get back to doing what the industry does best and that’s talking product.”
