Operators have an appetite to invest and the winners will be those manufacturers that are on the front foot.

Adam Hodges, chief executive of Game Nation, believes that the manufacturing brands that are investing in hardware and software will be the ones that benefit from renewed market confidence as operators look to provide their returning customers with a fresh and exciting gaming floor.

Adam Hodges told Coinslot: “I believe that the industry is in a buying phase. Operators are prepared to invest in their gaming offering providing that the quality is there. I have been impressed by the investment that Blueprint continues to make both in terms of their games menus but also their cabinets which have raised the bar for the sector. Players want a big screen, immersive entertainment experience which means constantly exploring and re-evaluating the proposition.

“There are fine margins between good, great and outstanding and operators are benefitting from the buy direct model that Blueprint has introduced and which is supported by staff who know their products inside out. The most successful business relationships develop when there’s a dialogue between buyer and seller and of course that’s much easier to achieve when there’s no third party involved in the chain.”
Nicola Wallbank, Blueprint’s Head of Corporate Accounts, confirmed: “It’s clear that our Buy Direct initiative gives the team the opportunity to spend time talking product with their customers, fully understanding their operational requirements and what their players want. This means that our investment can be directed in the right areas which in turn results in the delivery of strong income earning product – which is what the Blueprint brand is all about.”

Blueprint is at EAG with a formidable quartet of cabinets including the Cat C Alpha Trio which is making its exhibition debut at the ExCeL London event and is appearing alongside the B3 Wave+, the Auroramax+ and the Alphamax S. The high impact Alpha Trio has three 27” monitors which provide designers with more opportunities to present game concepts utilising all three screens. The menu features new games, comprising Luck O’ The Irish Megaways, Fishin’ Frenzy Megaways and Eye of Horus Megaways. Three progressive pots are displayed on the top monitor with each of the three games adding to the pot during game play.
