Blueprint Operations is inviting EAG show visitors onto to its stand P50 to show their prowess at the noble sport of darts and have the chance to win some great prizes including a £1,000 donation to a charity of their choice and in their name.
The competition, which will take place using an electronic darts system provided by sister company Regal Technologies, is part of the immersive on-stand entertainment experience that’s being created by Blueprint and which will also feature game characters Bully from Bullseye and the Monopoly Man.
Expanding on the competition, Blueprint Operations Managing Director Andy Tipple said: “Whilst EAG is a fantastic showcase for new product we also think it’s important to take the opportunity to meet with operators and have some fun! Darts is obviously very topical not least due to our fantastic Bullseye licence which includes the launch of the Bullseye B3 and which will be available for operators to experience on stand.
He continued: “Amongst a number of great prizes, we wanted to offer something quite different – hence the opportunity to win a £1,000 donation to a nominated charity of the winner’s choice. The donation is coming from MERKUR UK’s Community initiative which has generated over £220,000 providing support for an amazing 150 good causes based throughout the country.
“MERKUR Community is a group-wide programme and members of the Blueprint team have taken an active interest helping to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research, supporting the Leeds Hospital Charity as well as Momentum a charity which supports families whose children are facing life-challenging conditions.
“From a personal perspective I am delighted that Blueprint Operations via MERKUR Community is supporting ROW4MND a team of extraordinary people attempting to complete four ocean rows in four consecutive years with the target of raising a massive £57m to help find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
“On a much more modest scale I’m honoured to be part of The Bacta Baggers a group of industry friends and colleagues whose mission is to undertake a major fundraiser every two years with monies raised going towards the fight against MND which, as people will know, is a particularly vile and unforgiving condition.
“EAG is the very best opportunity of the year for the industry to come together and I look forward to seeing operators throwing some darts with the ‘aim’ of winning a £1,000 donation to a charity of their choice!”
