Velocity Cabinet Redefines Single Site Gaming, Backed by Bullseye Launch

Steve Barber: ‘Something familiar dovetailing with something truly head turning was the key take-out from my time spent with the Blueprint team’

Blueprint Operations’ strategy of combining next generation cabinet design with premium gaming content has been recognised by Amber Taverns’ Steve Barber who described the delivery of ‘an enjoyable interactive experience’ as a powerful and highly effective method of attracting players, increasing the overall average stake and driving cash in box.

Confirming the importance of the ‘right content right cabinet’ approach to building gaming income Steve Barber said: “Content has always been at the heart of the excitement for machine players, and we have always felt that whilst the cabinet is the vehicle, without quality content it doesn’t count for an awful lot.

“The launch of Bullseye, the latest Blueprint game release emphasises the importance of high-quality content which achieves cut-through. Viewing figures for the 2024-25 World Darts Championship have taken the sport to new heights helping to create new sporting heroes most notably the sensational rise of Luke Littler. Bringing together that level of consumer engagement with the iconic Bullseye brand, housed in what is without a doubt the best Cat C Cabinet on the market is a formidable proposition.”

He added: “Amber Taverns is currently rolling out the Velocity across venues and I’m delighted that in a matter of weeks customers will have access to such a strong licensed product. I firmly believe that this title will attract a different audience and continue to increase cash box.  It’s pleasing to see a new cabinet offering additional premium content as opposed to just a larger cabinet and screens. Something familiar dovetailing with something truly head turning was the key take-out from my time spent with the Blueprint team.”

Expanding on the strategy James Fergusson, Blueprint’s Head of Product said: “The Velocity is the first Cat C machine to feature the 15.6” gaming video panel and is consequently revolutionising and redefining the single site gaming experience. Exclusively developed for the Velocity cabinet, the Velocity (Pub) Menu offers a dynamic and diverse selection of premium titles. Designed to maximise engagement, the menu features a new Colossus-style layout, delivering a simplified and accessible visual experience for players. Games include the innovative ‘Spin to Win’ feature which adds an extra layer of excitement and rewarding gameplay. In a commitment to keep the experience fresh and engaging Blueprint will be adding six new titles each year.
