Blueprint Operations called on the services of two-time Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) World Champion Adrian ‘Jackpot’ Lewis to help launch the licensed Bullseye Category C game at a special customer event held at Coral Island in Blackpool.
Lewis, who has won a total of 26 PDC titles including World, European and UK Championships joined the Blueprint team to host an interactive customer darts competition with guests also enjoying a three-course Blackpool inspired meal.
Reflecting on the launch event Blueprint Operations Managing Director Andy Tipple said: “I am extremely grateful to the team at Coral Island for providing such a great venue in a town that has a long association with professional darts tournaments. The evening had a lively and immersive atmosphere which perfectly complemented the appeal of the Bullseye game.
“Having Adrian Lewis, widely regarded as being one of darts’ most naturally talented players demonstrate how the sport should be played added to the authenticity and theatre of what was a memorable evening!”
He added: “Smaller more personal initiatives such as this work on several levels. It provided the Blueprint team with the opportunity to demonstrate our collective dedication and passion for delivering on behalf of our customers. It also enabled customers to play the game within a live venue and enjoy a real-world, fully immersive experience.”
Andy Tipple confirmed the dedicated launch event reflects Blueprint’s broader commitment to the delivery of world-class content. “We believe that standout games deserve standout support, and Bullseye is no exception” he noted. “The investment we’ve made to secure the official Bullseye licence reflects our ongoing commitment to create top performing content for our state-of-the-art Revolution and Velocity cabinets. It’s early days, but Bullseye is already proving its worth – ranking in our top five performing titles across all markets.
“We will continue to showcase Bullseye at upcoming industry events beginning with October’s ACOS show where we look forward to introducing the game to a wider audience.”
With the game launched into the pub sector at the end of May followed by AGCs a month later the Blueprint strategy is to build familiarity with the market ahead of the reboot of the Bullseye television game show which is being hosted by cricketing legend Freddie Flintoff and will be broadcast later this year.
