As EAG ‘ 24 opened at ExCeL London, signalling the start of a crucial year for the UK industry Blueprint Operations got the show off to a perfect start completing a significant three figure cabinet and content order with Mecca Bingo.
The agreement which covers the brand’s market leading Category C and B3 products is part of a major investment programme which will see Mecca grow its digital density installing the latest performance-based gaming entertainment equipment.
Andy Tipple, who is enjoying his first EAG as Blueprint Operations Managing Director was delighted to start the show in such a positive way. He said: “Securing the agreement with Mecca sends out a really positive message to the industry and also serves as an acknowledgement of all the hard work invested by the entire team at Blueprint Operations.
“Iain Graham our Head of Account Management has worked closely with Mecca’s Slots Director, Mark Jepp and both teams have a shared passion for maximising machine income. We added a significant number of machines to the Mecca estate during Q4 and we look forward to extending that relationship in what is a pivotal year as the land-based sector prepares for the enactment of the White Paper proposals.”
Mark Jepp added: “Our investment programme is designed to modernise the machine estate and in the process broaden the machine offering to players. Blueprint is setting the pace in terms of both innovation and the provision of on-going support and it’s this kind of holistic supplier relationship that really impacts income.”
Confirming Blueprint’s strong presence at EAG, Tipple said: “Providing operators with a choice of cabinets is central to the creation of a modern retailing experience and adds to the depth of player interaction. In terms of content, we have ten game menus which have been created to suit the different market sectors that we serve and the demographic groups within them. As well as product innovations stand visitors also have access to the latest advances in age verification technology which represents a vitally important tool particularly within retail environments where machine playing isn’t the primary activity. Our age verification technology which is integrated into the cabinet has registered incredibly high percentage success rates in extensive nationwide trials.”
