Blueprint Operations Announces New Team to Power Next-Generation Gaming Entertainment

Blueprint Operations has underlined its commitment to next-generation gaming with the creation of a dedicated development team working out of the company’s new head-office. Under the leadership of Alan Claypole the team is brining its expertise to bear on the implementation of a player-first approach.

Blueprint Operations (BPO) has invested in the expansion of a new head-office-based gaming development team headed by Alan Claypole, Director of Technical and Product Development. This major strategic initiative underlines the company’s commitment to gaming innovation and a player-first approach across the low-stake gaming entertainment sector.

The six-strong team, brings specialist expertise in Unity Game development – a move that will enhance the design and delivery of content with the core objective of building machine income for Blueprint’s growing customer base.

BPO Managing Director Andy Tipple said: “This is a really exciting strategic development which once again sees the Blueprint brand set new industry standards. By building a dedicated Unity team led by Alan Claypole who as Chair of Bacta’s Technical Committee has done a fantastic job spearheading the industry’s robust response to the Gambling Commission’s proposed changes to technical standards we are committed to the development of increasingly immersive, player-centric games.

“The creation of the development team accelerates our ability to deliver engaging, responsible low-stake gaming entertainment for players and as a consequence strong, reliable performance for operators. It allows us to innovate on every level and make every single leg in the player journey enjoyable and fulfilling.”

The new team is already having an impact helping to enhance and drive ongoing development of omni-channel content as well as help in the development of new titles and licensed products such as Bullseye, which will be showcased in its new Cat C 3-Player format at this month’s Autumn Coin-Op Show.

Alongside new content, Blueprint is also investing in menu design and user interface enhancements, introducing features that make play smoother and more engaging. Updates in development include improved search functionality, favourite games lists, game previews, and a smart menu system capable of matching the right content to the right venue.

“We’re not just developing new games,” Tipple added. “We’re looking at how players interact with Blueprint product from the moment they walk into a venue. It’s about delivering an experience that’s seamless, enjoyable and tailored to meet the requirements of all sectors of the player base as well as engaging with new players.”

“Myself and members of the senior team including Director of Technical and Product Development Alan Claypole will be at ACOS to share our thinking and vision for a player-centric future with customers across all sectors and members of the broader industry.”
