Red Hot Genie is a five card draw video poker game in the Project style with a Hi-Lo gamble and a Jackpot repeat feature, with the addition of the Genie sometimes awarding a ‘No Lose’ choice in the gamble.

Bets: 25p, 50p & £1

Jackpot: £25 at 25p stake, £50 at 50p stake, £100 at £1 stake.

Game Features

Base Game

5 card draw video game poker.

On a winning hand the player can enter the Hi-Lo gamble where a card is presented. The player can collect or choose to go Hi or Lo from the card. On a losing guess the win is lost and the game ends. If the next card revealed matches the player’s choice, then the win award is advanced up the score card to the next level. Occasionally a swap may be offered giving the player the choice to swap out the current card for a hopefully more advantageous one.

Occasionally, in the gamble, the Genie logo may turn green and announce a no-lose gamble, guaranteeing the players choice will be successful, this is a single chance and does not carry over to the next gamble. There is also the Red Hot Genie where the Genie logo turns red and announces the no-lose gamble, with this Genie the guaranteed no-lose carries over one or more times.

The top award in the gamble is the Jackpot Repeater. In this feature the player is presented with two cards and selects one to Find the Genie. If the card selected is a Genie the player wins the jackpot value for that stake. The first selection is guaranteed to win. On £1 stake the feature is offered again in the next game with a 50/50 chance of success. On 25p and 50p stakes a maximum of three chances will be offered or end on an incorrect choice.
