James Ferguson: ‘What visitors will experience on the Blueprint stand is both a reflection of the here and now as well as a view of where the industry is heading’

Looking ahead to the two days in Manchester, can you give us an idea of what visitors will be seeing on your stand at the first ever ARE Expo?

First of all we are extremely excited to experience the first edition of ARE and to connect with visiting operators the majority of whom will be based in the north and in Scotland. There’s a danger that with both ACOS and EAG taking place in London that the industry becomes overly focussed on the capital which is why ARE is a great addition to the industry calendar . Our focus and what visitors will experience on the Blueprint stand  is both a reflection of the here and now as well as a view of where the industry is heading. We’re showcasing a comprehensive product line-up that reflects Blueprint’s commitment to performance, sustainability, and future-readiness. We will be showing the Revolution, Revolution 49”, Velocity, and the iconic Poker 23 – a collection that speaks directly to today’s operational challenges as well as tomorrow’s opportunities. In addition we will be unveiling eight new B3 and Cat C titles, all of which will be presented on our new cabinet range. This represents a fantastic opportunity for operators to see how the very latest content performs in tandem with our most advanced cabinet designs, in the process demonstrating the synergy between modern gameplay and innovative machine engineering.

What are the ‘must-haves’ on offer and why are they the stand-outs?

Providing players with a broad range of games to choose from is paramount but the content has to be accessible. A key highlight that we are bringing to ARE is our new dynamic game menu, which represents a major enhancement in player navigation. It introduces search functionality, tabbed browsing, and game previews—allowing customers to understand the content before they play. It’s a huge leap forward in the user experience that hands the player more control and as a consequence boosts engagement. The new menu design is being presented on both the Revolution and the Velocity cabinets. We will also feature our latest edition of the Spin 2 Win brand with  Eye of Horus Megaways, which delivers a unique, feature-rich experience on both our 21” Revolution and 15.6” Velocity video decks. Operators have been extremely positive based about the new format based on the additional layers of interactivity that it delivers.

Do you have any new launches, deals or partnerships previewing at ARE 2025?

Absolutely! Visitors will have access to a host of upcoming releases. These include the B3 Fishin’ Frenzy: Haul of Fame and Eye of Horus Megaways Spin 2 Win. In terms of Cat Cs we are using ARE to launch Rainbow Riches Party via our Velocity Pub menu, alongside Gladiators Riches, which is our first omni-channel title. We’re also continuing to strengthen our distribution and support partnerships to ensure that our cabinets and content reach operators of all sizes with minimal friction. That’s a critical part of our strategy—getting the right games into the right venues, quickly and cost-effectively.
