Blueprint Operations was part of MERKUR Group’s spectacular farewell to ICE London ahead of the international exhibition’s relocation to Barcelona in 2025.
One of ten MERKUR Group subsidiaries represented on what was a consistently busy 2,000 square metre stand, the Blueprint Operations team led by Managing Director Andy Tipple took the opportunity to follow-up on enquiries and conversations which were conducted with customers at the EAG show held three weeks earlier.
Reflecting on the market-leading UK brand’s ICE presence Andy Tipple said: “ICE provides us with an opportunity to re-connect with those UK operators who we saw at EAG as well as those who for whatever reason missed January’s show.
“Customers that we saw at EAG and went away to consider their options and consult with colleagues returned to place orders. We saw a significant number of our growing UK customer base and we always look forward to maximising the opportunity to spend time with operators, listen to any issues they have and of course share both our product knowledge as well as any industry insight that we have gained particularly in relation to developments surrounding the White Paper and likely implementation dates.
“In general terms it’s also good to demonstrate the advantages of being part of a big international group particularly in relation to how R&D investment results in the delivery of best in breed products created specifically to meet the needs of UK players.”
He added: “When operators visit a big international show such as ICE I also feel it’s instructive for them to see where the UK machine sector sits in the overall scheme of things. I think it was gratifying and reassuring for them to see that the Blueprint machines they are investing in compare extremely favourably with the very best in the global arena in terms of cabinet quality, high-definition immersive graphics and compelling game content.”
