Golfers representing Blueprint Operations MERKUR Slots and Regal Gaming Technologies participated in the inaugural MERKUR UK golf day held at the Norwood Park Golf Club in Southwell, Nottinghamshire. Multiplying the total Stapleford score on the day by five and donating to a local charity.

The three teams were led by Andy Tipple (Blueprint Operations), Steve Ambrose (MERKUR Slots) and Matt Bicknell (Regal Gaming Technologies)

Reflecting on the event Andy Tipple said: “It was a fantastic day’s golf which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. MERKUR UK has an outstanding track record of supporting a whole range of smaller charities based in the communities where we have venues and offices and we always look to add a fundraising element to all of the activities that we run.

“We all agreed that the initiative has the potential to become an annual fixture and we are already in the process of establishing the potential and practicalities of opening it out to the industry.”

Bringing the leadership teams from all three MERKUR UK businesses together in one place also provided an opportunity to explore areas in which they can work closer together.

Andy Tipple noted: “We already share insights across a number of fronts but there’s always the opportunity to fine tune and nuance how we approach things.

“Our shared objective is to improve efficiency and enhance machine income on behalf of all of our customers. Any opportunity to discuss industry issues and share opinions for the betterment of MERKUR UK customers are invaluable.”

Regal Gaming Technologies won the team event with Blueprint’s Kieran Randall topping the individual board.
